The Panthers Are Paying For Their Ex-Coaches Taxi So I Think All Is Forgiven

In case you missed it, last night the Florida Panthers fired their coaches and then left them on the street to find their own way home from North Carolina. Gallant was more than likely none-too-pleased about this move, seeing as he was the runner up for coach of the year last year. But all is forgiven today, as Tom Rowe confirmed that he will be the bigger man and reimburse Gallant for his taxi from last night.

That’s just a classy move by the Panthers organization. People were giving them a hard time last night, but little did they know the Panthers are salt of the Earth, go Pres go type of folks. All Gallant has to do is send a copy of his cab receipt and he will be reimbursed in 7-10 business days. So that should put an end to the “Florida is a horseshit organization” rhetoric. Sorry, haters.
