I Empathize With This Philly Man Who Needed To Be Rescued Out Of A Trash Truck Too Much
NBC – SkyForce10 hovered overhead as crews rescued a man trapped inside a trash truck after trying to find a place to sleep in Philadelphia Monday morning.
The rescue took place on top of a garbage truck parked near Castor and Aramingo avenues in the Port Richmond neighborhood around 6:45 a.m…The man was dumped into the truck after falling asleep inside a dumpster outside a nearby Speedway gas station, said police.
I get it, man. I really do. On Saturday night the Flyers put 4 goals in against Carey Price in Montreal. No team had put in more than 2 against yet this season. And somehow some way, those idiots still managed to lose 5-4. Then we had yesterday’s catastrophe where Doug Pederson leaves 6 points on the field against the Giants and the Eagles end up losing by 5. The biggest kick to the balls to end another shitty weekend in the city of Philadelphia. I feel like trash. You should feel like trash. The entire city of Philadelphia should feel like trash. So it only makes sense that this fine gentleman would decide to take a little nap in the dumpster earlier this morning (not to be confused with a Philly swimming pool).
As for getting trapped in the trash truck? Well consider that a free Uber ride. The homeless in Philadelphia are pretty damn resourceful. Wouldn’t surprise me if this dude knew the route the trash truck was taken and realized it was the best option to get from point A to point B. Savvy vet.
