Keo The Chimp Is 55 Years Old, Or Was Because He Just Died

Lincoln Park Zoo reported that animal care staff made the difficult decision on September 30 to euthanize Keo, a geriatric male chimpanzee, who was suffering from advanced cardiac disease. Keo was 55 years old. He was the oldest living male chimpanzee in any North American zoo, and the very first chimpanzee to live at Lincoln Park Zoo.

FIFTY FIVE? That’s so fucking old. Like I know I joke how the blogging life will take its toll on me and I’ll die young but I honestly don’t think I’m making it to 55. I really don’t. I mean at the current rate I will be 10,000 pounds when I’m 55. So my hats off to Keo the chimp. Lived a long life. Would I have liked to see a quick shot of his dick to judge him against King the baby Rhino? Sure, but you can’t have everything in life, even Keo knew that.
