A Driver Who Went Off On A Cyclist Filming Him Is A HUGE Asshole But So Entertaining
Love this dude even though, objectively, he is the hugest asshole out of the two and that’s with me strongly biased against annoying hall-monitor cyclists filming YouTube videos in their lil Tour de France jerseys. But this guy broke out all the badass shit talk he’s stored up in his brain over the years; old Clint Eastwood lines, every basic insult you can give another man, even a “I’m your huckleberry” from Tombstone (which arguably might be the most bad ass line ever that also sounds kind of sweet without context):
If you’re going to be a dude who comes off like a huge asshole in a video bullying some little wiener boy cyclist around, that’s how you do it. Sure he’ll still be demonized by that part of the internet who watches these videos and goes “Yeah drivers are such jerks, way to take him down a peg! Wheels up boys!” and then peddle away with their little basket on their handlebars. But he dominated the conversation, took down our modern “smugly film everything and whine about it later” culture, and held himself back from throwing a punch and going to jail. I’ll give him a solid A- for the effort, cut down on the slurs and throw in more movie quotes and you can get that up to an A in no time in my Internet Guys With Serious Rage Issues gradebook.
