Newscaster Goes In For Goodbye Kiss With Smoke Anchor And Gets The Mutombo

TripleEm –  This will go down as one of the most awkward live TV moments of all time. It was Rebecca Judd’s last appearance in the Channel 9 news before going on maternity leave. Peter Hitchener and Tony Jones were saying farewell when ‘Chompers’ decided to kiss her on the cheek. What happened next needs to be seen to be believed. Judd completely shut him down in one of the most awkward TV moments OF ALL TIME.

Peter Hitchener…3 seconds on the clock…2…1…he lets it fly!!!!1

NO NO NO. Rebecca Judd said NOT IN MY HOUSE PETER! Listen I am usually a big proponent of shooting your shot. Especially with chicks. Go up to that girl at the bar and ask for her number. Go in for the kiss at the end of your date. Tell your crush you wanna smash. Do it. Go for it. Whats the worst that can happen? She shuts you down, you feel like an idiot for a little bit and then that goes away and life goes on.

But you gotta set yourself up for at least a smidge of success. You cant go on a full blown suicide mission. And trying to kiss a coworker who’s pregnant with twins on live television is a goddam kamikaze flight. Not one single piece of that puzzle is correct. Wrong person, wrong place, wrong time. I mean never mind the fact that shes super hot and you’re old and weird. Never mind you work together. Never mind that its on television. You think a chick with 2 buns in the oven wants some dude slobbering all over her? The last time she let a guy do that she got impregnated with 2 fucking humans. She’s probably never going to go near another male ever again.

So I wish I could give you a pat on the back and a “Good Job Good Effort, Peter.” But that was just reckless. Flat out reckless. Maybe thats your style. Maybe you’re a Wild Card. And in that case I have no other choice but to say “Play on, Playa.” But if you’re anything close to a regular guy this was a horrible miscalculation on your part. Made Trump trying to kiss Pence look like Hitch.
