Lance Bass From NSYNC Set To Host A Gay Dating Show Like "The Bachelor"

NBC News- Logo will launch a new gay dating show, “Finding Prince Charming,” this fall. Hosted by Lance Bass, the reality competition will be the first dating show to feature a cast of all gay men. “Logo has a long history of showcasing LGBTQ-focused stories with memorable characters that transcend pop culture,” said Pamela Post, SVP of original programming for the network. “‘Finding Prince Charming’ will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do.” Thirteen “charming and gorgeous suitors” will live together and compete for the heart of “one of the nation’s most eligible gay heartthrobs,” according to Logo. One contestant will be eliminated each week until the yet-to-be-announced bachelor picks his “Prince Charming.”

I don’t think it’s possible to underestimate how fantastic this show is gonna be. I’m obviously a huge fan of The Bachelor so this is right in my wheelhouse but this has the chance to be even better than The Bachelor. If you’ve watched The Bachelor or The Bachelorette you know the guys and girls get catty as fuck with each other. Talking shit behind their backs, talking shit to their faces, threatening each other, punching each other in the face, punching themselves in the face, etc etc. Now imagine the amount of cattiness that’ll go on between a bunch of gay dudes all living under the same roof and vying for the same guy. I don’t even know what that’ll look like but it’ll be epic. And then you’ve got Lance from NSYNC playing the role of Chris Harrison. Good ideas on top of good ideas. That is the definition of must-see TV. Not sure I’ll actually be able to watch it because Logo sounds like a made up channel but I really hope I have it.
