Ever Hear The Joke About The Polish Magician That Made A Nail Go Through A TV Host’s Hand?

YouTube- A Polish breakfast television presenter hit the nail on the head, or in this case her hand, after a magic trick demonstration didn’t go as planned. Question for Breakfast presenter Marzena Rogalska was helping a Poland’s Got Talent semi-finalist perform a Russian roulette-style magic trick. The illusionist had Ms Rogalska hold her hand over three paper bags and slam it down onto the one he said did not contain a hidden nail. Ms Rogalska then slams her hand down onto the brown paper bag chosen by the illusionist – only to recoil in horror and pain as it becomes apparent that she had pounded her hand onto the one bag which did actually contain a nail. She was taken to hospital where she was treated for superficial hand injuries and administered a tetanus shot.

Now this is the payoff we have all been waiting for. Countless times watching a dude get sawed in half or drowning in water while being chained up, only to see him walk away unscathed at the end. Magic is at its best when you think someone just may die. Same for all those Discovery shows of guys doing highwire acts. Now granted we would all probably start puking our guts out if we saw a dead body at the end of a trick. I fully admit I am currently very annoyed that ESPN is re-running the OJ 30 For 30 all hours of the day just knowing I may turn on the channel and I get one of those gruesome murder pictures in my eyeball like Fox replaying NaVorro Bowman’s knee exploding over and over and over in the slowest motion possible during the NFC Championship Game a few years ago. So I guess a host getting a nail in the hand while screaming her guts off before getting an epic stinkeye is a good way to quench our blood thirst while also keeping it PG. However, I don’t feel one iota of sorrow for this TV host. Because if you play a game of nail in the bag Polish roulette with a magician that looks like this, you’ve made a huge mistake.

“A man in my position can’t afford to be made to look ridiculous.”

By the way, I have no ill will towards Poland or its people. But Poland’s Got Talent is a laugh out loud funny title for a TV show.
