The Challenge Had An All-Time Great Elimination Round Last Night
We have all heard the saying “the darkest hour is just before the dawn” a million times and I never thought I would use that quote when talking about a bunch of crazy people that live in a house, get wasted, bang, and then compete in oddball challenges. But here we are. Because The Challenge is starting to click on all cylinders again. Last night we had TJ drop an epic zing on the cast, further proving my theory that he is the substitute teacher that is sick of his class and cannot wait to sip margaritas by the pool.
We had Bananas plotting for revenge like Arya Stark
Nicole breaking out a new face to go with some of her well known faces.
We had Jenna steal the scene during the swimming sequence like a young Jessica Alba in Into The Blue.
And we had an elimination round! Crazy I know. And not just any elimination round. It was Blind Soccer, which meant that one partner played soccer blindfolded while the other partner yelled directions at them. The “run through each other in a narrow hallway” will always be my favorite elimination round, but this is close to taking the throne.
Shout out to KellyAnne for letting us know that she doesn’t have a lot of hand-eye coordination as she plays a sport where she’s blindfolded and isn’t allowed to use her hands.
I am not saying it was pretty or anything. But the unintentional comedy and actual dramatic sport theater makes blind soccer clearly better than regular soccer (in my humble opinion)
Anyway, Wes’ team won, which led to his Scarface from Half Baked moment.
Which led to Bananas burying Wes 6 feet under with an all-time great quote.
But Wes responded by dropping the most vicious fake handshakes I’ve ever seen in my life.
