Fabolous' Reaction To Desiigner's Performance During Last Night's BET Awards Was Simply Incredible

That right there is the face of a man that realized that the game has passed him by and it makes me so damn sad. For my money, Fabolous was the most underrated rapper of his time. Smooth flow and fun rhymes over great beats. But he is also tied to a certain era, since we haven’t really heard from him in years. Fabolous reminds me of being in college as the hottest songs from him and Ludacris rang out from the speakers. So to see a great fall like this is depressing because it means that I am officially old and washed up (which I knew, but didn’t KNOW if that makes sense). But I’m not going to blame him one bit.

For one, Fabolous is no spring chicken. He is *goes to Fabolous’ Wikipedia page* 38 years old. Wait, what? Fabolous is 38 years old?!?! He must be on some Melisandre sorcery shit to look that young. Anyway, if you look at most people in their 30s when they hear a song by Desiigner or Future, we all have the same look on our faces. I call it the “What the fuck happened to hip hop?” face. I admit this response makes us seem old as hell, but I still for the life of me cannot wrap my head around this being the same genre that gave us gold for that 15 year stretch from 1991-2006. Which then leads to fights with younger hip hop fans about how we just don’t get today’s music. Anyway, as Fab was processing all this noise raining down on him, Desiigner high stepped all in his face like Deion Sanders in his prime, essentially murdering the boy with the ol’ chipped tooth. The Ohio State tuba player has less swagger in his step when he’s dotting the i than Desiigner had last night. RIP in peace, Fabolous. You made an entire generation of people that think fabulous is spelled “F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S”, which is more of an impact on society than most people will ever make.

p.s. Sure Fab. Sure.
