Maniac Turkish Soccer Fan Attacks A Ref In The Middle Of A Game

How easy do American refs have it? Think about it. The worst thing that happens to the ref of an American sport is he gets booed a lot and people rip him apart on Twitter. That’s literally it. Every single one of us has tweeted something to the effect of, “Fuck these fucking refs they fucking suck I hope they die.” What happens next? We completely forget about it. After the buzzer sounds, I don’t think about that ref for another second. Well that’s not true. I might think about them for a couple days but that’s only in extreme cases. Definitely not a week. I can’t think of a government name of a single referee. You could show me a picture of a ref who fucked my team over big time and I wouldn’t know who the hell it is. It is the exact opposite in Europe with soccer. That video is proof. The hundreds of videos of soccer fans attacking refs is proof. They take that shit serious. Serious to the point where they’ll run down onto the field and beat the shit out of a ref. I can’t think of a single situation where I thought, “I’m so mad at that ref that I’m gonna physically harm him” and mean it. Just a different breed over there.
