Steve Wynn Says Rich People Only Like Being Around Rich People......No Doy.

Boston.com – Steve Wynn, the casino magnate who plans to build a $2 billion casino in Everett, was characteristically blunt when speaking about his company’s business strategy in a meeting with investors on Thursday. According to a transcript of the call by Seeking Alpha, Wynn said his company “caters to the top-end” of the gaming world, like a “Chanel” or “Louis Vuitton.” “Or to put it in a more colloquial way, rich people only like being around rich people. Nobody likes being around poor people, especially poor people.”

Oh rich people only like being around rich people? Nobody likes being around poor people? Duh. Tell me something I don’t know Steve Wynn. Why do you think I bought on Nantucket and not that strip mall over at the Vineyard. Because I don’t want all those cruise ship, Old Orchard Beach, white trash people dining in the places I dine at, swimming in the beaches I swim in and shopping in the shops I shop in. No thanks. Delivered too many papers to mingle with poor people.  Just the thought of it makes me sick.  I mean honestly what’s the point of being rich if you can’t avoid the poor/vineyard.
