RIP David Lee’s time as a member of the Boston Celtics. T&Ps for him and his family during this trying time. I will admit when they got him I was hopeful. Maybe he just needed an opportunity I told myself, but boy was I wrong. This is one of those addition by subtraction situations. To put it simply, unfortunately the Celtics were worse in literally every way the second Lee stepped on the court.
I certainly won’t miss his knack for taking ridiculous running hooks, or his missed layups. At best I hoped he would be like a 14/7 guy with good percentages, but that’s not how the cookie crumbled.
So David, sorry to see you go, but just go resign in GS since Ezeli is out or something. Adios.
