Did Kanye Win Or Lose This Twitter War?
Been going back and forth on this this morning. Is this an L for Kanye? We’ve talked about how you’re just a child if you thinks its gay to do a little butt play. But obviously the vast majority of the public is clowning him. So is that a loss or not?
On the one hand I know Kanye is such an ego maniac that he only wants people talking about him as a revolutionary artist. He only wants people talking about his greatness. And so the entire internet sitting around coming up with his anal playlist and photoshopping him into all sorts of butt fingering memes is probably killing him. People didnt remember Jesus Christ or Michelangelo for anal play with a stripper. This is not the kinda press Kanye wants.
But the flip side is that because hes such an ego maniac, this is kind of a win. He’s such a superstar and hes so famous that this is the kind of power he has. People find out he got his butt played with and the internet came to a halt. Number 1 news story. Number 1 trend. World in a full blown frenzy. It kind of reminds me of Chappelle talking about how Bill Clinton is so famous he made Lewinsky famous by sucking his dick:
We’re talking next level fame and influence when your asshole activity is front page news. Imagine being so fucking famous people care if you get your butt fingered? Not only do they care, but everyone is writing, podcasting, tweeting, discussing it. Media explosion. That is unimaginable to me. So in that sense Kanye probably loves this. Like when he spun his wife being a hooker into “My girl a super star all from a home movie.”
He’s either such an arrogant fuck that he loves this or hates it, and I cant figure it out.
