Turns Out There Were Some More Gems From The KHL Shootout Challenge
I blogged this fire flames Linus Omark shootout attempt earlier today and while it’s one of the most Russia things I’ve ever seen, it turns out it wasn’t the only beauty from the KHL All Star skills competition. Nope. Not even close. Because if there’s one thing these bastards love more than guzzling down vodka and having the Russian Ruble being worth American pennies, it’s getting all sorts of weird out on the ice. So here are a couple more gems from the breakaway challenge today since it’s a snow day and what else are you going to waste your time on?
First we have Anatoly Golyshev who appeared to have just watched Robin Hood for the first time.
Now I gotta be honest here… I don’t think this is a legal move. At least not that first attempt because if you watch again, you’ll see that he lost all of his forward motion. So yeah as much as I hate to be a fun sucker, that’s not a good hockey goal. But the Robin Hood is always a great hockey celebration so let’s keep that going.
Next we have the old moving net trick.
Not really sure how that one happened but since it’s Russia, I’ll ask as few questions as possible. The moment you start snooping into the science behind this shootout attempt, the KGB comes knocking at your door to put a bullet in your brain. So we’ll just chalk this one up to magic for now.
Now we have that scumbag Alex Radulov playing some tendy.
Radulov is one of those classic dirtbag Russians who give the rest of them such a bad rep in the NHL. Has all the talent in the world, just hates to actually work for anything and would rather be home in mother Russia doing some shit with the mob and playing hockey on the side. But as much as I hate the guy, you can’t take away his talent. I will say this, however. He is WAY too ugly to ever come back to the NHL so any rumors that you may see over the next few months can be squashed right away.
Lastly, this breakaway was from the actual All Star Game itself and while the finish was a thing of beauty, let’s talk about the girl at the end. Because I think I just fell in love.
I don’t know what it is about her but she gives me that old fashion feeling where I’d do anything to bone her. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and makes my penis tingle. Don’t know whether it’s those eyes or the fact that she’s drinking out of a coffee cup at a hockey game or what. There’s something about her that I love and I call dibs.
The final score of the game was like 28-23 by the way. So yeah, I hope you had the over.
