Guy Pulled Over And Ticketed For Driving His Car To Work Like This

CTVNews- An 80-year-old man who said he was too weak to brush 20 centimetres of snow off his car got a ticket and a warning from police – but also a helping hand from the officer who stopped him. Ontario Provincial Police posted a photo on Twitter Tuesday, of the vehicle they say was pulled over in Brussels, Ont., a small community approximately 100 kilometres north of London. The man told police he was too weak to clear the snow. In the photo, the car was covered in snow, with only a small portion of the windshield cleared on the driver’s side. “Can’t make this stuff up,” OPP wrote. “Driver charged today in Brussels actually driving like this.” OPP told CTVNews.ca that the driver was ticketed and is facing a $110 fine, after being charged under the Highway Traffic Act for driving with no clear view.

Such bullshit.  He who has not driven their car to work with 4 inches of windshield visibility cast the first stone. EVERYBODY and their mother has done this. If you haven’t that means you live in a place where it never snows which makes you a giant pussy. I don’t trust anyone who hasn’t lived through at least 10 winters. They don’t know the real struggle of clearing a car off with frozen fingers.  Anyway, every single person does this. You clear off just enough of your windshield so you hopefully don’t cause a 52 car pile up on the commute to work. Maybe you will maybe you won’t. Ice road truckers ain’t got shit on highway driving with a window of visibility the size of a Rubik’s Cube. But clearing off your car in the winter time blows. So why clear off the entire windshield when I only need this much space? Not to mention I can’t be bothered to go out, start the car, go back inside, let it warm and melt the snow then go back out. Nope. It’s one and done. Once I’m out there, I’m getting in my car and going.  The cop giving this guy a ticket makes him an asshole. The cop still giving the guy a ticket once he found out he was 80 years old and wasn’t strong enough to clear off the whole car makes him a fucking asshole.
