Tonight's Isles-Rangers Game Could Not Have Came At A Better Time

The best day of the year. The Chinese vs the Mongols, the Allies vs the Axis powers, USA vs Russia, The Islanders vs the Rags.
Easily one of the better rivalries in sports, especially now with the Isles, y’know, becoming good at hockey again. With a city split in two, a ton of history and distaste for one another, and two teams in desperate need of points, tonight’s matchup has the perfect fixings for a hockey game.
Everyone in the Metro is clawing for space however it may come, as the division[again, save for the Capitals] continues to be the biggest crapshoot south of the Presidential election. With both teams looking to patch together any form of short term success, tonight is the night in which a win can help either side turn the corner.
The Islanders have yet to put together a full 60 minute game in what seems like weeks now but still somehow find themselves tied for 2nd. Spite the fact, if there is one game I have faith in this team getting up for, it’s tonight’s.
No baseball, football :(, or basketball tonight in New York. Just a good ol’ dog fight of a hockey game. See you all on the other side.
