What a roller coaster of a game. Caps dominated, going up 2-0, then poof! the lead disappeared and the Rangers scored 3 straight. But this isn’t your same ol’ Caps. They tied it up with 5 seconds remaining, sending it to OT, when this happened:
On replay it looks like Schmidt got a stick in there too, but let’s not take anything from Holtby- he had quite a few other big saves along the way. Even with MoJo suspended, Beagle hurt, and quite a bit of inexperience on the blueline, the Caps are still killing it.
