Dolphins Nab Adam Gase, Eagles One More Step Closer To Being Boned

Howie does it again! I didn’t even want Adam Gase that much and now I’m pissed off the Dolphins didn’t let him leave Miami. What else is out there? The average choices in the Cincy O and D coordinators? A man who hasn’t wiped his own ass since ’99 without asking Andy Reid if it’s OK in Doug freaking Pederson? This isn’t good. It’s getting to the point to where Howie and Lurie might want to send Chip an Edible Arrangement and pretend like this whole thing didn’t happen because you’re probably not gonna find a coach with as much potential as him. Yes, I know they’re interviewing Tom Coughlin, but let’s be real. I respect the fuck out of the man but I don’t think he has the blood pressure at his age to deal with this mess. I guess we’re holding out on McDaniels or Patricia and hope they’re the answer? Can’t wait till the final 3 candidates come down to Doug Pederson (being interviewed on Monday), Pat Schumer*, and Sean McDerrmott. I guess incest is legal, and encouraged, in solely West Virgina and South Philly.

In all honesty, I’d give Shurmer a 1-year-deal and franchise Bradford to see what the hell can happen. That leaves some level of consistency with a coach the players respect and we finally can see if Bradford is worth a long-term, franchise deal. If it doesn’t work out, oh well. Go after long term solutions after this year. I’d rather wash away one season with a chance at a lightning in a bottle situation than hire a meh guy and lose the next half decade to mediocrity, or probably worse.
