In Just 2 Days The Redskins Are Playing a Home Playoff Game
Unreal that I just got to type that title. Do you remember the pre-season and what a fucking disaster it was? We had an ESPN reporter being called out for sleeping with the GM, we had the entire ridiculous RG3 concussion debacle. Wait, I have to stop now. That seems like forever ago, what a fucking mess that was. We then had the 16 million dollar man playing scout team safety. It seemed every time I left the house something else major happened. Then finally Kirk was named starting QB. RG3 was named inactive for week 1. Some normalcy began. Then on September 20th, after the Skins killed the Rams, it became clear that if the Skins can just play decent, they can win this division, even with DeSean sidelined for what was supposed to be only a few games. But then a couple games later, Jordan Reed got hurt. Then the Skins fell behind 24-0 to the Bucs and it looked like we were back to the same ol shitty Redskins again. But we weren’t. Not so fast. Kirk led the comeback, screamed YOU LIKE THAT into the camera, and a legend was born, a hero was made, and the Skins never looked back. Now they face shit head Aaron Rodgers and his hoodie wearing WRs in a home playoff game. The Packers Oline sucks. The Skins Dline is great. The Skins secondary is banged up, but the Packers don’t have all the weapons they used to. There is a fair chance your Washington Redskins could win a playoff game the season after going 4-12, a season after going 3-13. This is a rebuilding team who has caught fire. They have nothing to lose. They weren’t supposed to be here to begin with. Going to be a hell of a game on Sunday. I can’t imagine anyone not rooting for Kirk to pull this off.
