Lebron Says He's Not A Flopper Which Is Sort Of Like Chris Bosh Saying You Have To Get Physical In Order To Win A Title, Both Ridiculous Statements That Actually Happened

(Source) LeBron shrugs at all of it — including the new allegations out of Chicago that he is a flopper. Tibodeau said he saw a flop when Nazr Mohammed pushed him to the ground. Combine that with LeBron saying after a regular season meeting the Bulls were too physical with him and Chicago fans have taken that to the next level talking about how LeBron whines and flops to get calls. LeBron’s response to the AP was essentially, “whatever.”

“It’s kind of the same [as when] I heard people say I was overrated,” he said Sunday. “It’s kind of like the same response….

“I don’t need to flop,” James said. “I play an aggressive game. I don’t flop. I’ve never been one of those guys.”

History is written by the winners. We don’t talk about the three years in a row the Detroit Pistons bounced Michael Jordan from the playoffs and how people said he couldn’t lead a team to a title. Same is true of the knocks on the games of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and so on. LeBron gets that. Keep winning, keep collecting rings and all the flopping talk will die away, drowned out by plaudits. But it’s not going to due out before Game 4, Chicago is going to let him hear it.

Oh Lebron doesn’t need to flop? Oh ok then, I guess that settles that. Not like we have hours of tape showing the 6’8” 275 lb guy take a dive anytime anyone so much as blows on him.

Here’s the thing. I’m actually not a classic Lebron hater. I absolutely hate his guts when the Bulls play him, but during the regular season I can appreciate Lebron as by far and away the best player in the NBA. He’s unbelievable to watch. But this flopping bullshit makes him such an incredible pussy. You’re the most dominant player in the game. You are a physical freak. The last thing you need to do is flop around trying to get fouls. Just play the fucking game. This is the reason people hate you. When they see you flail around after you get lightly touched. Replay doesn’t lie Lebron. No matter how many times you want to tell yourself you don’t flop. You do. It’s  a fact. Anyone with two eyes would agree.

By the way, only thing more absurd than Lebron saying he doesn’t flop. Is Chris Bosh saying he wants to play physical and bang down low.
