Georgetown Tried

It was a valiant effort from Georgetown. They really tried hard. It was like watching a fat guy run a 5k. They were huffing and puffing and Maryland let them run with them for a bit but the better team won in the end. Yea I wasn’t the happiest guy watching Maryland miss free throws and open 3’s, but that’s just the early season blues. If Maryland plays shitty and still wins games, sky is the limit. It’s not like they’re ranked 3rd for no reason.

As for the atmosphere, unreal. They need to play this game every single year. A shame that the last time Gtown played on Maryland’s campus was 40 years ago. Just a great night for local hoops.
