Crayola Dropping Knowledge Bombs On Their Facebook Page

Adweek – If any brand is less deserving of an adult-themed paint job, it’s Crayola. Yes, the crayon company is synonymous with childlike innocence. But it was anything but on Sunday, when its Facebook page was hacked by unknown deviants. Once inside the brand’s account, the perpetrators shared click-baity links to R-rated sites throughout the day, sending poor Crayola into a panic.

I love the Internet because things like this can happen. One second they are posting wholesome coloring books and fun facts for the entire family to enjoy, the next second they are letting you know why girls don’t give blowjobs. You never know what you’re going to get on the Internet. Crayola keeping the kids guessing out there. Learn about the origin of the name “Tickle Me Pink”, or learn about the different types of titties girls have? It’s a toss up. A grab bag. And I say good for Crayola. Thing is, when kids grow up they start getting less and less interested in coloring and more interested in Disney porn. So why not hold onto that audience? It’s marketing 101. Retain the old audience while ushering in the new one. And besides, never too early to learn to stay away from them cucumbers and look for those peaches.
