I don’t know you guys, this is an awfully weird idea if you ask me. Where does Scot McCloughan get off thinking you can scout players, evaluate them, and then draft the right guys to build a team around? I think he said something about moving down from number 5 and acquiring picks, what the fuck was that all about? Didn’t he mean move up from number 5 to get the biggest name available so they can sell more jerseys? I’m so confused by his entire press conference. All these things about the GM having complete control of the final roster, all these things about allowing coaches to pick their assistants, I couldn’t really follow because these ideas are all so brand new to me it was like he was speaking Spanish. I don’t know if his revolutionary style of GM’ing is going to work. I mean yea it’s worked everywhere he’s been and every other successful team does it, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Seriously, building from the draft. Hilarious concept bro.
