BR - Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon isn’t giving up on the Rams. ‘St. Louis is an NFL city,’ Nixon said Wednesday. ‘I don’t think it’s too late to keep the Rams.’ But city leaders are hedging their bets, saying the plan now is to work directly with the NFL — not the Rams. The change in philosophy is due in part to the fact that Kroenke won’t take calls from Mayor Francis Slay or other city leaders, said Maggie Crane, Slay’s spokeswoman. ‘He hasn’t responded, he hasn’t called back, he hasn’t done anything,’ Crane said of Kroenke. ‘After a while you sort of get the hint,’ said Jeff Rainford, the mayor’s chief of staff. Messages left Wednesday at Kroenke’s office were not returned. A Rams spokesman declined comment.
Now it’s just sad. The Rams are the hot chick and St. Louis is the old boyfriend who stopped caring, stopped buying her new things, invested a lot of money in Sam Bradford, and now has nothing to show for it. LA is the hot new guy. Lost some weight, got on a good face cleaning regiment, and now is ready to BANG. So St. Louis is now freaking out after years of not caring because Kroenke is building stadiums in LA already.
Wings motherfucker! That stadium has WINGS. Fuck yea Kroenke is leaving St. Louis. The Edward Jones Dome is the fat guy on the couch eating cheetos playing video games all day. No time for that when you can get with a stadium with wings on it in sunny LA.
And this is laugh out loud funny:
Peacock: has not met with Stan Kroenke … this isn't about the owner of the Rams, this is St. Louis' team … it is owned by the fan base

Earth to Matilda, no it’s not. It’s owned by a man named Stan Kroenke and he can do whatever he wants with it. If you think you’re pulling at a billionaire’s heart strings, I’ve got news for you: you don’t become a billionaire by having your heart strings tugged on.
