The Patriots Just Deleted This "Butt Fumble" TBT Tweet And I Am Livid

No defense for this. None whatsoever. Honestly, the original tweet was kinda funny but even then I wasn’t gonna blog it. It was just a little social media thing that probably didn’t deserve too much attention. But deleting it? Come the fuck on. Cowardly. It makes everything out to be a much, much bigger deal than it is.

So you trolled a division rival with a funny tweet the week you play them, who fucking cares. Leave it. Say it with your chest. The whole world already saw it, most screenshotted it, deleting it does nothing but look you like pussies who are running and hiding.

You’re supposed to be the Patriots. The kings of the league. The guys who do what they want, take what they want, fuck who they want and no one can stop them. Yeah, Bill was probably pretty pissed off about this but once it’s out there then it’s out there. He doesn’t understand YouFace and SnapBook and Tweeter. Deleting something only amplifies the situation and makes it a bigger deal than it has to be. It makes you look weak as shit. Like little pussies who are scared of some internet chatter or giving the opponent “bulletin board material.” Posting it in the first place wasn’t a very Patriots move but deleting it is the exact opposite of a Patriots move. Once you make a decision you stand by it, no matter the public backlash. Trading Seymour, going for it on 4th and 2, letting Welker walk, trading Mankins, posting a picture of Mark Sanchez running into his lineman’s ass… whatever. Once you make a decision you stand by it. It usually turns out to be the right one.

Plus, Brady kinda evened it out with his post.

PS – Rough day for the Patriot’s social media guru. This morning they also posted a video of Brennan Williams talking about how much it meant to be signed by his dad’s old team.

They posted that about an hour after he was released.
