Trebek Gives A Million Bucks To Fordham

WSJ - A: This famous host of the televised quiz show “Jeopardy!”, who frequents the city to visit his son, just donated $1 million to New York’s Fordham University. Q: Who is Alex Trebek? The donation, said the 75-year-old Mr. Trebek, is to endow a scholarship fund to help needy Fordham students from the Harlem area. In restricting the gift to students from a small geographic area, he said he hopes to make a meaningful impact in a neighborhood.  “If I’m going to do something out of generosity, or whatever, I’d like it to make an impact and I’d like to know who it is making an impact on,” said Mr. Trebek. “So the smaller the area of help, I think, the better it is.” The first recipient of the Trebek scholarship is Estefania Cruz, a class of 2017 history major at Fordham’s campus in the Rose Hill section of the Bronx. More than 90% of Fordham undergraduates receive financial aid. The connection to Fordham and Harlem is through Mr. Trebek’s son, Matthew, who graduated from Fordham in 2013. The younger Trebek now resides in Harlem and will soon open a restaurant in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood, said Mr. Trebek, who himself received an honorary degree from Fordham in 2011.

Pimp shit right here. Let Uncle Alex break you off a million, Fordham. Trebek just tricking dough on the poor people who go to Fordham. You dont see Sajak out there cutting checks for a million dollars, do you? No. Probably because Sajak is worth a measly 45 mil while Trebek is worth 50. Fuckin chump. Trebek spending that Merv Griffin money like its nothin.

I mean for real imagine just giving up a million bucks? Just – here, take this. Hold this for me. 6 zeroes. I dont even care about the Puerto Rican kids its gonna help go to college. Dont really give a shit about Harlem or the community impact Trebek is having. And quite honestly he probably doesnt either. He just wants to throw his big ass dick and his big ass checkbook around. Making charitable donations is that rich people shit. No better way to say “I’m better than you and make more money than you” than to give it all away to poor people. Long live Trebek. The greatest there ever has been, and the greatest there ever will be.
