Hangover Doctor Is Coming To Boston

BOSTON (CBS) A company that claims it can deliver a nearly instant hangover cure to your home or office is planning to begin serving people in Boston this fall. The I.V. Doc already serves several cities in the country, bringing intravenous fluids to customers who need to get on with their day rather than dealing with hangovers, jet lag, dehydration or illness. Rochelle Minda, the company’s COO, told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 that the luxury service is performed by trained professionals. “These IV treatments make people feel better right away.” According to the company’s website, costs for IV treatments range from $150-$400 apiece. The I.V. Doc plans to open in Boston at the beginning of October.

I had no idea this was even a thing. Whenever I have one of those killer hangovers where I throw up every time I move until like 4pm I wish that something like this would exist. But it does! And now it’s coming to Boston! What really sucks about this is how expensive it is though. Being a poor college student there is no way I could afford to do this, like ever. Even if I could afford, it I’m not sure $250 is worth it just to get rid of a hangover. It would have to be the worst hangover of my entire life combined with it being my wedding day; or some other extremely important life event that requires me not to be hungover. Or if the nurses that came to cure your hangover were the sexiest nurses on the planet and dressed to fit the part. Obviously, both male and female nurses would have to be offered. In those two situations I would pay $250 to cure my hangover.
