'You Kind Of Did It To Yourself ' - Bryson Decided To Bury Rory One More Time, Reminded Him About His Yips That Cost Him The US Open

In case you need a reminder of what Bryson is talking about here: 

Alright, I forgot how goddamn hard it is to search for old blogs. But you likely know if you're reading this. Rory got the yips down the stretch at Pinehurst and basically handed the US Open to Bryson thanks to a bunch of missed putts. 

Now we have them back on the course together, getting ready for the Bryson/Brooks vs Scottie/Rory match tomorrow. Honestly? Perfect line by Bryson. He delivered it right away, a great shot that you know stings for Rory still. Hell, all you gotta do is see Brooks laughing about it and even Scottie cracking a smile. If they are doing that when Bryson is making comments, it plays. Gotta hand it to him, he went from the weirdo golfer to still probably weird but at least can chirp and dominate the Internet. That's a positive for Bryson. Not to mention he won the US Open. If he ended up choking too, he couldn't fire any of these lines, but I live by a simple rule. You win, you can say whatever you want. 

I know a lot of these Matches/Showdowns, whatever you want to call them, have been overplayed lately. But this is what we should be getting during these sort of things. This is something that Bryson should say if they were playing without cameras and it was just the 4 of them going out for a game. There's also nothing worse than the yips, especially while golfing. Anyone who plays even the smallest amount of golf knows the feeling. You have no confidence stepping up with a certain club or your putter. Your mind immediately just says this is going to get sliced into the pond over there, or my personal preference of knowing I'm going to fuck up 90% of my chips. You don't want to be reminded of it. 

Either way though, this is perfectly played by Bryson. Gotta hand it to him there.
