Ohio State's President and AD Are Begging Buckeyes Fans To Not Sell Their Tickets After OSU's Presale Code Leaked and Tennessee Fans Bought Thousands

Oh no. Ohio State got rewarded with a home College Football Playoff game after losing to Michigan as three-touchdown favorites and the Buckeyes' fans have shown their support for the team by seemingly allowing Tennessee fans to buy up all the tickets in The Horseshoe. OSU's ticket presale code leaked to the public and Vols fans swooped in immediately.

All I know is this wouldn't happen at a real football school. Tennessee's administration would have to release a statement thanking fans for the unprecedented demand and apologizing that we can only get 102,000 people into Neyland Stadium.

The CFP only mandates home teams allot 3,500 tickets to the visiting school, which includes band members, families and staff — another thing that needs to change with this organization — so I was initially dubious of how many Tennessee fans were going to be able to get into the building. But after seeing OSU's president and athletic director have to publicly beg their fans to make sure the Buckeyes will have any sort of home field advatage, I am bullish on the amount of orange we will see next Saturday night. This is going to be fun.

Well, maybe not if you're an Ohio State fan who will have to watch Ryan Day fall to 0-4 against the SEC, lose back-to-back home games and head into 2025 full of utter despair. But it will be fantastic for the rest of us.
