Make It Happen: Brooks Koepka And Bryson DeChambeau Are Reportedly Telling People We Could Have A LIV vs PGA Ryder Cup Next Year

What the hell is taking so long? That's the real question here. Plus, this event should be happening right now. Do it while golf is between seasons and you will have an audience. When could it even happen next year? You have the actual Ryder Cup taking place, you have all the normal Tournaments and Tour schedule. It's not like there's a good weekend to do this.

All that said, this is what fans want to see. Actually, we want to see one tour with all the players on it, but for the time being, this is what we want to see. Give me a LIV vs PGA Tour Ryder Cup. I don't know how you'd pick the teams, think you just get a captain and let them name the 12. Forget points standings or anything like that, but here's my quick breakdown of the teams:

You can debate the 12, that's who I'm going with. It's made for TV and made for fans. I'd make the rules simple - no similar colors. Can't have the Ryder Cup where both teams are wearing blue. Second, I'd do the same format as the Ryder Cup. Don't think you need an extra day or change up format. Finally, where to play it? Play it somewhere big - Pebble, Pinehurst, St. Andrew's type deal. Make it a course that people know and can draw eyeballs. Finally, the biggest one, throw golf etiquette out the window. If LIV wants to be golf, but louder, make it that way. Encourage shit talking, give me Joe LaCava getting into it with people, the crowd should be rowdy. Make it a true spectacle.
