'It's The Worst Thing In The World' - Penny Hardaway Is Trying To Claim Only Memphis Is The Only Team In The Country Who Gets Punished For A Loss

Come on, Penny. You were finally starting to figure it all out. You quit the crying, you hit the right portal stuff, you had a team that looked the part. Now you're back to creating this fake Memphis vs the world type thing. Key part here to remember, Memphis lost to Arkansas State at home. This wasn't a loss to a good team, this was a loss to a sub-100 team where they frankly kicked your ass. Also, stop giving a shit about the AP top-25 poll. It means nothing (except if you're in the top-12 of week 6, then you apparently win a title). Not to mention, his complaint is just false. Cincinnati dropped 8 spots for losing to Villanova. Wisconsin dropped 9 for losing to Marquette and Michigan. Kansas dropped 9 spots for losing to Missouri and Creighton. Notice the trend here? You lose, you drop. 

Like I said though, this Memphis team should be decent. They have quality wins already - Missouri, UConn, Michigan State. They have a couple more chances. If they get 2 wins against Mississippi State, Clemson and Virginia to end the nonconference they are in a spot for an at-large as long as they don't collapse in AAC play. 

I know you want to have all this fake motivation and it's coaching 101, but come on. You can't pull this move, this early if you're Penny. Gotta save it for March if you're close to the bubble. That's when you take a page out of the Buzz handbook and create a powerpoint proving you were screwed. Then again, don't lose to Arkansas State by double digits. That seems like the simple answer here.
