5-Star DL Williams Nwaneri Is in the Transfer Portal Just a Year After Missouri Coach Eli Drinkwitz Made the Most Embarrassing Video of All-Time for Landing Him

If you watched this video having no idea what it was about, it would be reasonable to guess Missouri had done something like made the College Football Playoff or signed the No. 1 recruiting class in the country. I mean, it would have to be something like that for Eli Drinkwitz to be jumping into another man's arms while knowing he's being filmed. In reality, though, all Drinkwitz and Co. managed to do was land one 5-star prospect — as part of the nation's No. 21 class — who recorded two tackles in just four games this season and then hit the transfer portal.

Great decision, young man. The best time to get out of there would probably have been immediately upon seeing this remarkably uncomfortable video, but the second-best time is right now. I hope Nwaneri finds the right school for him and goes on to have a wonderful career!

It's been a rough few weeks for Drink. First missing out on the College Football Playoff despite being terrible and now this. Just heartbreaking.
