No Days Off: Aaron Jones Decided To Fix His Fumbling Problem By Carrying His Kids Around Like A Football

This right here is just smart and I say this as a fellow dad (not a pro athlete). You see your kids walking around, they want to be held all the time and carried around, tuck them high and tight like a football. It's the push to the playoffs, you can't have fumbling problems this late in the year. You gotta find ways around that and fix it. Starts at home. They'll squirm around and try to get loose, hold them tight and it translates to the football field.

I gotta admit, I forget the Vikings are 10-2 basically every week. They are just sitting right there with a chance at the 1 seed, the bye, home games, all that. They are forgotten about mostly because the Lions are awesome, we're waiting for the Packers to keep winning games and then Matt Eberflus finding hilarious ways to lose games. They aren't talked about a ton, no one really considers them a Super Bowl threat yet they are a game out of the 1 seed. A lot of that is tied to Aaron Jones. He's still a good running back, he still can help you win games.

I assume as a pro athlete you gotta find ways to always be working on your craft. You don't just get home from work, kick the shoes off and sit around. This isn't an accountant we're talking about here. You see your kids, you carry them like a football. Maybe break out a spin move when the other one is walking towards you. Love that his mom is screaming for him to get benched too. Football family from top to bottom knowing what it takes to get ready for the playoffs.
