The Philadelphia Eagles Go Down To Baltimore And Bully The Ravens Into Submission

Let's say you only had 13 seconds to live but you needed a quick summary on how the Eagles vs Ravens game went before you died. All you'd have to do is watch that clip and you'd see everything you needed to know.

It wasn't a perfect game by any stretch. The offense couldn't get a damn thing going in the first quarter. The defense had a couple of leaky drives to start the game. But once the Eagles figured their shit out? Once they settled in to doing what they do best? They mercilessly bullied the shit out of the Ravens.

Jalen Carter bullied the Ravens when he wasn't being held to death.

Jalen Hurts bullied the Ravens. It wasn't his greatest day through the air but he made plays when he had to, still got 29 with his legs, and most importantly he didn't turn the ball over.

Saquon Barkley bullied the Ravens. This game was about Saquon vs Derrick Henry as the two best backs in the league. It was also about the Eagles run offense vs the Ravens best run defense in the league. I think it's safe to say who won that matchup.

Another 100+ yard day and a touchdown for Saquon. Meanwhile, Derrick Henry was getting PLANTED by Cooper DeJean.

This is just what these Philadelphia Eagles do. They don't have any weaknesses, so you can't exploit them at all. Even when they're not playing great, they're still tough to play against. They beat you up, they wear you down, and eventually you find your offense on the sideline watching the end of the game as the Eagles bleed a million minutes off the clock.

It also helps when the opposing kicker has no idea how to operate his own feet and misses 3 kicks on the day. But that's the thing--the Eagles force you to play mistake free football in order to beat them. Thing about that is there are very few teams in the NFL capable of not making any mistakes. So unless you're one of those one or two teams, good luck.
