Stop What You're Doing And Watch Texas Baseball Commit Easton Autrey Hit A 544-Foot Home Run Off The Rangers Jumbotron

So the Texas Longhorns are (supposedly) getting a kid who can hit balls where no one else has ever hit them in a big league ballpark? That's what we're doing now? High schooler and Texas commit Easton Autrey showed up to the Power Showcase and put on an absolute show. I mean that too, he literally hit baseballs farther than anyone ever has in the Rangers new ballpark. 544 feet to be exact. In the video below you can his the home runs that he hit OFF of the Rangers Jumbotron. WAYYYYYYYYYYY up there in right field, I mean it's so high up there that it seems physically impossible to hit a ball that high and far, especially for a high schooler. The 2026 graduate hit not one but 2 balls off the Jumbotron and now officially has the title of farthest ball hit at Globe Life, same place a lot of big boppers have played. Just going to say it now but with power like this, he ain't going to be wearing that burnt orange, he'll probably be an Oriole after that 2026 draft.

6'5 and 225 pounds as a high schooler is hilarious, not to mention he's not done growing. But the muscle is already there along with that sweet lefty swing. The second clip in that video of the kids turning around to see where it lands and the ball crashing down into the outfield after it left the atmosphere and hit that big screen is hilarious, it's insane how high and far he's hitting these balls. I can't tell where he broke the Jumbotron but it does appear that he knocked some of the lights out. Just incredible power for a kid who still has to go to US History class on Monday. But anytime you hit the longest home run in Power Showcase history, that says something. Some big names have hit in these as high schoolers, some guy named Bryce Harper put on a decent show way back when, you may have heard of him. So keep your eyes peeled for this name in the future, he's going to hit some absolute bombs, already setting records and still has a full year before he's eligible for the draft. My goodness the future is bright for Autrey.
