Vigilante Replaces Traffic Signs And People Are Freaking Out Because The Signs Include Some Wildly Violent Phrases

Newly installed traffic signs in Boulder, Colorado, reminding drivers to employ safe driving practices are proving to be about as dangerous as all of the stuff they warn against. 

As Boulder police commander Darren Fladung told Denver’s 9News, “I appreciate the fact that it’s drawing attention to the fact that we’d like people to slow down and not be on their phones, but there’s probably, again, a few more appropriate ways about getting that message out.”

I hate putting those types of links into a blog instead of providing you with easy access to see those bad boys. But on Al Gore's internet, there are rules that even bloggers have to abide by. 

Think about all the times you've been driving and the signs you see out on the ole open road. "Slow Children at Play." "Slow Down and Let Them Live." Other signs will say stuff like, "Slippery when wet or Bridge Freezes before road," and things of that nature. This is different. 

Look at the sign above and imagine the following words on those shits. 

"Slow the Fuck Down."

"Don't Kill Any Kids Today."

"Get Off Your Damn Phone."

Now, the authorities don't have any idea who is doing this. I'd imagine it's some dad whose kid was impacted. If that's the case, who are we to intervene? If those signs get people to pay more attention, I support it. "Slow Down" doesn't move the needle. "Slow the Fuck Down" gives the sign and the driver more urgency. If I tell someone, "Get over here" it doesn't slap as hard as "Get the fuck over here." The expletive changes everything. You better start to run or in this case, slow the fuck down.
