Caleb Williams Said In His Press Conference That He Hasn't Spent Too Much Time With His New Playcaller...The Former Passing Game Coordinator

I've listened to the quote. I've read the quote. I PRAY that the quote was about this week and not the entire season. I don't know how the Bears coaching staff works in terms of meetings and game planning, etc but I hope to Christ that the passing game coordinator had a pre-existing relationship with his rookie QB. It feels impossible, but anything is possible with the Chicago Bears. I was told by a source in Halas Hall that Eberflus was really hands on with the offense the last couple of weeks. Maybe he's been sucking up the oxygen in offensive meeting rooms. That same source told me Eberflus has lost the locker room. Who knows.

This is the report on Thomas Brown from the press conference today

Basic football 101. Something that was missing from the Waldron offense. Here are a few others...maybe give Caleb some easy throws over the middle to his all-pro TE and two receivers who are great underneath. Another novel concept. That quote about Thomas Brown working in pre-snap motions as "window dressing" is a very appropriate term for this organization. Reshuffling of the staff is nothing more than window dressing. It's not going to fix problems long term, but I hope they're able to fix things enough to not ruin the career of a potential franchise QB.
