"Giannis Is A Child" - Jaylen Brown Didn't Hold Back While Burying Giannis For His Fake Handshake
Generally, Giannis has one plan of action while playing offense. When in doubt, just run into people. Do the same old spin move and swing your elbows without a care in the world while being fully aware that you're swinging into someone's head. You'll see it a handful of times a game pretty much every time he plays, and today we had a great example of it early in the 2nd quarter of today's Celts/Bucks showdown
A clear flagrant but you know, it's Giannis so of course it wasn't reviewed. Very big and strong of Giannis to try and talk shit after committing an offensive foul, and you'd think that after a move like that you'd get a "my bad" or something along those lines. I mean at the end of the day, you don't need to be swinging elbows at people's faces.
Instead, Giannis went with the old "down low, too slow" move. How hilarious. I guess maybe he thought he was onto something with the Bucks up 10 at the time, but ya know…..
Not too different from the time Giannis tried to talk shit to Al Horforfd in the playoffs a few years ago only to get immediately get dunked on (and then lose).
Well here we are in 2024 and it's the same result. The Bucks ultimately blew their 17 point lead, the Celts beat them for the second time this season, and afterward Jaylen Brown certainly didn't hold back when it came to making his feelings about the interaction known
I mean, the handshake move, the sliding under Tatum's feet on a 3PA because you know you can't stop him without hurting him, it's hard to spot the lie with Jaylen's claim. Giannis did play like a child. Now, Giannis is a bit of a big kid, which is partly what makes him endearing, but I'm choosing to believe this was more along the lines of a slight because it's fuck the Bucks now and forever. It just goes to show one side is about winning a title and the other side is about corny trolling. There's a reason each team is where they are in the standings at the moment and I don't think it's hard to see why.
Perhaps Giannis should spend more time being worried about his dogshit 2-8 basketball team and less time focusing on playing some sort of corny game after he blatantly swung his elbow's into an opposing player's head. Just a thought.
Thankfully both Tatum and Brown appear to be OK after their questionable but not really questionable run ins with Giannis. When even the refs are admitting they blew it, I think that tells you everything you need to know. Both he and his basketball team stink out loud.
