The Question Isn't Are The Indiana Hoosiers Good At Football, It's How Many National Championships Will They Win
The atmosphere in Bloomington, Indiana was electric. One of the rowdiest football crowds to ever grace a football Saturday. Watching the Barstool College Football Show brought a tear to my eye for how far this program has come in such a short time. People caring about the game and not just blacking out during the tailgate. Nebraska vs Indiana was supposed to be a bar room brawl to the finish, but instead it was the Hoosiers holding down the Huskers and beating the ever living shit out of them. Indiana's starting QB was showered and in street clothes by the start of the 4th quarter (hope his hand is okay).
Is Indiana a football school? Was today an apple picking day? Indiana football hasn't been to a Rose Bowl since before the moon landing, so obviously the Hoosier faithful are excited, but now I feel silly for getting hyped up to play unranked Nebraska. I NEED the big dogs of the Big Ten. FEED me Michigan and Ohio State! Rework the schedule and throw in Oregon and Penn State. The Hoosiers are legit, and they are ready to prove it to the world.
I thought Cignetti was a crazy person when he showed up at halftime and started talking shit, but this man is is ABSOLUTELY a winner, GOOGLE IT! I don't know how the perennial college football power houses feel watching their team every week, but it's still shocking watching a team get up for every game no matter who is on the schedule, and play good, mistake free football. I hope I never take it for granted, and when those BCS championships come, I hope the winning never gets old. Time to celebrate the first of many wins, I'll see you all at Shalooby's.
