Seems Like A Problem - NFL Replay Admitted They Didn't Have Access To The Normal Camera Angels We Saw On TV, Shockingly Get Call Wrong
Uhh, what now? I heard this last night and had to make sure what I was hearing was true. The NFL, on a broadcast, admitted they didn't have access to the camera angle me and you had at home? In what world is that even possible? If all of us streaming on Amazon Prime can see the play and the 100 replays that slow games down, surely the people making the call have access to HD television in 2024. Even dumber? Don't admit it on TV! I don't care who you're talking to, learn to lie. Cover it up, don't tell America that the NFL replay system on Thursday's don't have regular ass camera views.
Not to mention they got the call wrong. Basically everyone agreed that the punt hit the Seahawks receiver, clear recovery from the 49ers, line up and go. But they said there wasn't enough evidence to overturn it. Welcome to the NFL in 2024! Billions of dollars between them and Amazon yet the replay system is using a scrambled feed like me trying to catch a tit on my TV back in the 90s. I assume they act the same way I did back then too. You convince your brain that you saw that pair of tits when it was just more scrambling. That's how the NFL makes their ruling on replays, which checks out even more.
Seems pretty simple to me here. The replay system should probably have every camera angle possible. If we're going to stop games, ruin flow and ruin moments because of replay, at least get it right. That's the whole point anyways. You better make sure they have all the angles us normal people have.
