Luke Combs and Eric Church are putting on a "Concert For Carolina" in Two Weeks To Help Out The People Ravaged By Hurricane Helene

Rolling Stone - Luke Combs and Eric Church look utterly exhausted. Beginning at 6:30 a.m. this morning, the North Carolina natives and country music stars have been sitting side-by-side in the Nashville office of Church's management company doing a string of live TV hits, from CNN to Fox & Friends, to promote "Concert for Carolina." The Oct. 26 benefit show at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, will feature performances by Combs, Church, Billy Strings, and James Taylor in an effort to raise funds for those affected by the flooding from Hurricane Helene, especially in Western North Carolina.

The tragic irony is that while Combs and Church are talking live on CNN about the devastation from one storm, the news network's crawl directly beneath them is warning of another even larger hurricane, Milton, projected to smash the Gulf Coast of Florida within 48 hours.

I encourage you to read the entire interview because it's too long to post here and it's a great read.

Both Combs and Church's families are from the Asheville area, and both have close friends who have been devastated by the aftermath of the storm. It's also a really impressive look at how quickly they were able to mobilize and put together and event of this scale to help area residents- American citizens. (The Federal Governemnt should take notes).

Throwing Billy Strings and James freaking Taylor on the bill don't hurt either. This is a POWERHOUSE lineup, and I hope they raise a bajillion dollars for the families affected.

Oh yah, and the one and only Caleb will be emceeing the event which is also freaking awesome.

Speaking of Caleb, if you're not able to make this show but still want to help out, there's a really easy way and that's by purchasing one of these "Mountain Strong" shirts we are selling in the Barstool Store.

100% of the money from the sales are going to the MANNA Foodbank- 100% of net proceeds will be donated to Manna Food Bank. MANNA FoodBank, located in Asheville, North Carolina, is a private, not-for-profit service organization that will play a crucial role in feeding those in need during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Caleb has been spearheading this thing and has already raised over $100,000 which is really amazing.

But that's nothing. So buy, donate, do whatever you can to help.

And pray for the people of the western Carolinas and for the Tampa area this week.
