'Everybody Wants To Keep Trying To Make This A Thing' - Josh Allen Makes It Clear That No Matter What People Claim, He'll Never Take A Shot At Stefon Diggs
So after the Monday Night game, Josh Allen had that quote and everyone went wild with it. Every person assumed he was taking a shot at Stefon Diggs because of saying he enjoyed playing with guys who didn't care about stats or touchdowns. We all know what happened with Diggs at the end of the run with the Bills. He wanted the ball, every WR1 wants the ball. He went as far to say it in an interview:
There's also been a bunch of other stories about Diggs and the Bills, most notably his brother last year saying it's time to free him:
Pretty sure nobody would blame Josh Allen for taking a shot, if he did. The man has spent all offseason hearing about how the Bills are done, the window shut, players and executives voting him the most overrated player in the league. All a bunch of dumb shit. But Josh Allen isn't taking shots:
I'm sure people still won't believe him and it's easy to see a quote, run with it, especially as a Bills fan. Allen isn't dumb. He's not going to openly take shots no matter what. He's going to say the right things and basically everyone agrees he's one of the most liked players in the league. So there you have it. We can stop saying Josh Allen took a shot at Stefon Diggs. He still loves him and it's also easy to say all of this while Josh Allen looks like an MVP. He is right that people are going to keep trying to make this a thing, because it's the NFL, it's all we do with storylines. But he has his answer and it won't change any time soon.
