"I Hate My Fantasy Football Team" - Week 2 Report

Little late on this Week 2 update. My life has been absolute chaos this past week after moving the fam bam and driving a 26 ft truck with all our belongings across multiple SoCal highways. Speaking of chaos - the fantasy overlords have sent quite the message to pretty much everyone after two weeks.

You absolutely suck at this.

Look at this leaderboard. I know it's only two weeks in so there's a lot of dust still to be settled, but as it stands now Baker Mayfield is your QB 1, a kicker is worth a first round pick, and - oh yeah - 2020 Alvin Kamara is back from the dead. As you've probably heard by now, scoring is down and field goals are up. That means your fantasy team is getting into the mud in hopes to win by any means necessary.

My advice after two weeks is this - stay the course. Don't give up too quick. Things should eventually even out. I know this because I'm an idiot and didn't follow this advice by starting Hunter Henry over Dalton Kincaid last night for Week 3. This is a sure sign that Kincaid will go off so you may as well benefit from my failure. Definitely putting both of these guys on my Troll of the Year watch board.

Let's try to cheer ourselves up a bit. Here's this week's worst possible realistic team. At least we did better than this team, right? 35.7 PPR points.

Yep. Josh Allen and Travis Kelce on the uber dud list. That's been how this season has started. On the other hand. We missed out on 162 points from dudes we could have scooped up for free on the wire.

Shout out anyone who started whoever the hell Jalen Nailor is. Sounds like a name Madden would make up for an undrafted free agent out of a community college.

I still have hope Josh Allen turns things around. I feel like he didn't really need to do much vs the dead Dolphins. Kelce too. Would love to dream up a "buy low" list for everyone but it's such a shit show I'm not even sure who you'd trade.

Good luck out there in Week 3. Hopefully things turn around.
