Another Banner Day For The Raiders - A Hot Mic Caught Reporters Talking Shit About Gardner Minshew During The Team's Press Conference

Not exactly a hot take to say Gardner Minshew is going to get his ass kicked by Baltimore. It's a pretty easy prediction. But how in the year 2024 do you get caught on a hot mic talking shit about anyone you're associated with? We don't know who said it, I'm not that deep into the Raiders beat reporter life. But getting caught talking about anyone on a hot mic is something I can't fathom. It's not that hard to be aware of your surroundings, take a look around and just assume everyone is taping you at a press conference. I need to know what they said about Davante Adams. Probably trade rumors again if I had to guess? 

All that said, this is only happening to the Raiders. Plenty of other teams suck, sure, that's fair. But no one and I mean no one gets random shots and things like this besides the Raiders. This might be straight out of the Al Davis playbook though. I'm not above thinking this was a plant to fire up Minshew. That's something both Minshew and Antonio Pierce would do. We all know Pierce learned from Tom Coughlin and that's why he's on Coughlin time for life. You think he's not sitting there expecting a little shit talking? 

It's been 1 week. Sure, Antonio Pierce punted on 4th and 1, but it's been 1 week. That's why the NFL is king. You can react like your season is over because of 1 week. Impossible to turn anything around in this league.
