Jayden Daniels Is About To Go 2012 RG3 On The NFL!

The FFFPod is BACK! Steven Cheah, Tyler Moody & I broke down the QBs in the first edition of the 2024 season. We will be releasing a new episode every Thursday morning all season long with an emphasis on Draft Kings Daily Fantasy (#DKPartner).

Washington Commanders Rookie QB Jayden Daniels is one of my favorite QBs this fall. He is about to torch the NFL after winning the Heisman Trophy at LSU. Daniels is a dual threat and ran for over 1200 yards last fall & led the SEC in passing for the #1 offense in college football.

All of the ingredients are in place for a monster fantasy season IF Daniels can stay healthy which is always a concern for running QBs. Daniels is tall and lean so the NFL could beat him up. Kliff Kingsbury is going to run a wide open offense. WR Terry McLauren is a solid #1 option too. The Commanders had the worst defense in the NFL last season and are primed to play some wild shootouts.

Despite being a running QB, Daniels should adjust well to the NFL as he gets to his 3rd, 4th & 5th progressions before taking off running. I have him rated pretty far ahead of Caleb Williams as the top rookie QB and will be firing his over props early in the season.

Some other QBs I am higher on than most are Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow & Matt Stafford. The guys I am avoiding are Anthony Richardson, Aaron Rodgers & Justin Herbert.

Anthony Richardson is causing a ton of debate in the fantasy community. His upside is huge because of his running ability but can he pass? And can he stay healthy? This is a dude that barely completed over 50% of his passes in college and did not last through Week 4 last season so let's pump the brakes a little bit!
