LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

At the start of the Finals, it looked like Jaylen was a slam dunk for the Finals MVP. Then coming out of the Game 4 disaster it wasn't clear if maybe he blew that shot. Then with Tatum's big game tonight (31/11/8) you could make the case that he had played his way into the FMVP given how he closed Game 5 and secured the title.

So for Jaylen to be the one to get it, I mean how can you not love that? Had the series from hell against the Heat, people killed him for his supermax and loved to talk about how he didn't have a left hand. Then here he comes into 2024 with the best season of his life, then he wins ECF MVP and now he backs that up with a Finals MVP. That fucking RULES. Of all the Celts to be happy for right now, Jaylen is high as hell on my list. Every offseason people wanted to trade him, we always heard how he was overrated and not worth the money. Well guess what?

Not only is Jaylen Brown an NBA champion, and an Eastern Conference Finals MVP, but now he's also a Finals MVP. Just typing all that out in one sentence has given me a raging Porzingis that is most definitely not going away in 4 hours. All the hard work, all the faith, it's been rewarded. If that doesn't make you feel things you may as well be a dead person.

The longest tenured Celtic. The one who has been here through it all, through every era. It's fitting that Jaylen is the guy. Let the talking heads do their typical Jaylen vs Tatum bullshit after this. Fuck em. Right now all that matters is the Celtics are champs, Jaylen is FMVP, and this team is just getting started.
