NASCAR Pit Crew Member Does Full Belly Flop To Flatten Out The Hood Of A Car, Locks Up Locker Room Guy Of The Year Award

There's something special about being a part of a team. It's something that not everybody gets. So many people are always so wrapped up with their own dreams and ambitions that all they can think about is themselves. But when you're a part of a team, it's about more than that. It's about doing every little thing you can for the guys around you all rowing the boat in the same direction towards a common goal. You're willing to do whatever it takes to help your team get the job done. Not for any personal glory or gain, but because you want it for the guys around you.

This dude gets it.

I'm sure there's a ton of technical shit you need to learn in order to be a pit crew member on a NASCAR team. Changing tires, how to lift the car as quickly and efficiently as possible, getting all the tools out there without getting ran over by cars that are driving hundreds of miles per hour. These guys probably go through extensive training. But nowhere in the training manual will it tell you to do a belly flop on the hood if it's all jacked up.

That is what being a locker room guy is all about. Not thinking at all, just acting purely on instinct. You know you're a little hefty, and you know there's not a tool that can replicate that. So you launch your barrel onto the hood of that car and you just start bashing away until it's straightened out enough to get back out there. It doesn't matter what sport we're talking about. Any team can use a guy like this.

Sidenote: Love seeing the NASCAR community lose their shit over the fact that pickleball got the main Fox slot yesterday. Sport of the future, baby.
