A Holiday Miracle: Peacock Won't Show A Single Commercial During The 4th Quarter Of Saturday's Bills/Chargers Game
Easily the second biggest complaint NFL fans have about games - behind shitty refs - is the fact there are so many commercials. Touchdown, commercial, kick off into the end zone, commercial. It's brutal to watch. Football is already a slow game considering there's a break in action after every single play and delays for reviews and refs deciding whether or not to pick up a flag, we don't need all these commercials. The NFL makes more than enough money.
I'm sure this is some sort of ad deal for Peacock. Hey look what you can get if you subscribe to premium or whatever. That's another thing that chaps my ass. I know it's not Festivus but I got a lot of complaints. If you subscribe to something, you should be allowed to subscribe to it all. Stop giving me like 3 tiers of subscriptions. Speaking of commercials - can we agree to put a warning or time allowance on when they can show the neglected animals commercials. Can't be getting hit with that at like 3pm on a Tuesday when I have King of Queens on. No need to cry when I'm watching Carrie Heffernan and Doug hanging out.
Alright, that's enough airing of grievances, back to the good thing here. My only fear is this game is a blowout in the 4th quarter, because, well, Chargers suck. Need this to be a close game. I know I might sound crazy here but I'd rather listen to the announcers talk about the game instead of hearing the same commercial for the 12th time. I'm sure they'll jam more commercials in earlier in the game, but at least my dumb brain will be tricked in the 4th. Give me more of this.
