Tylor Perry Took Down Villanova With A Super Smooth Game-Winning Stepback 3 As Jerome Tang Improved To 9-0 Lifetime In OT
If you've been watching Surviving Barstool, you probably can assume somewhere Will Compton is yelling "Dagger em ... Dagger em" as a tribute to one of the biggest moments in the challenge, the bean bag challenge. If you haven't been watching Surviving Barstool, you can appreciate this shot nonetheless. What a dagger! All time "you can't do shit about this" as a defender. Just like not a damn thing the defender could do, got set up with a rope a dope of all rope a dopes.
I may be bias, but the step back is such a filthy move when executed properly, and no one was better at it than my former teammate Levance Fields of Pitt. Who executed it perfectly, in the biggest moments.
First just before Christmas in a game against Duke ...
And then again in The Sweet 16 vs Xavier ...
(Looking back not as much of a step back as I remember, but a filthy crossover put the defender on his heels setting up the shot)
Tylor Perry displayed massive Onions tonight and buried Villanova when it mattered most. Jerome Tang is a HELL of a coach, and has been an instant impact there in The Little Apple. Every big win he's dancing with the students and cannot stop talking about how much he loves being there.
It's awesome to watch for a guy who was an assistant for nearly 20 years finally get a head job and it be a perfect fit. The Octagon Of Doom looks unreal by the way and I am super excited to attend there next weekend vs Nebraska. Bucket list stuff. Hopefully Will Compton comes and I put him in another mental pretzel like I have all week of Surviving Barstool.
