Mark Stoops Is STAYING -Shuts Down The Texas A&M Job At 1am After Realizing Delusional Aggie Fans Aren't Worth The Massive Payout

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON OUT HERE? I go to bed last night, ready to wake up to a world with no Mark Stoops, no head coach and ready to personally recruit Jon Sumrall to Lexington. Instead I wake up to find out that Mark Stoops is staying at Kentucky. I don't blame him. He probably saw a Midnight Yell or realized A&M has the most unrealistic expectations possibly in all of sports. Maybe someone told him how he's already a top-10 paid coach in America and can just hang out a little bit longer at the greatest school in the world. Tough to tell.

All I know is Mark Stoops made the smart decision. He could have gotten a ridiculous buyout and sailed off to the sunset after being fired by A&M. But he'd be just another coach there that did the same. Instead he will have a statue built for him outside of Commonwealth Stadium. He's already the greatest Kentucky football coach this side of Bear Bryant. Think about it, he built Kentucky to a point where a 7-5 season is disappointing. He built Kentucky to where we have actual consistency and people are upset about choking games away or not beating a Missouri/South Carolina. That was rarely the case here. It used to be just get us to October and Midnight Madness.

I gotta know who leaked this though. Someone wanted to see the reaction, whether it was the A&M or Stoops side. I hadn't seen people so pissed off since Tennessee and Schiano. Again, I assume this is because A&M is the most delusional fanbase in all of sports. They know they can pay anyone a ridiculous amount of money, but why would you coach there if you're alrady at a monster job?

Welcome back home, Coach Mark Stoops. Let's go win more football games and keep on owning Louisville.
